Volunteering with Loxcare

We are looking for Volunteer's

"Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless". (Sherry Anderson)

There are a range of activities that can be fulfilled by volunteering with us at Loxcare.

These include:

• sorting and preparing donated items for sale (in both Arthur's Bazaar and Len's / Ken's Shed)
   

• office administration duties including interviewing clients and assessing their assistance needs, cash handling & banking, record keeping, answering phone, greeting clients & visitors, shopping for our pantry and preparing food hampers etc
   

• monitoring the Services Australia Access Point during opening hours and assisting when necessary
   

• Management Committee members meet monthly and we are always looking for new volunteer members
